Become a certified scuba diver with SSI

Using online learning, confined and open water dives, the SSI Scuba Diver program is a perfect foundation to become a confident and safe diver. You will learn all you need to scuba dive in open water up to 12 meters deep with an SSI Professional. In this program, you will complete almost half of the Open Water Diver course training and can upgrade your certification easily. You just need to complete the remaining academic and confined water sessions, plus two open water training dives.

Scuba Diver training overview:

3 Academic Chapters

The rating of  Scuba diver is achieved by first completing the first 3 Academic sections of the Open Water Diver Course, using the same training materials. Either use your e-learning to read and answer your knowledge reviews for sections 1,2&3 and then further complete study at our dive center by watching the videos and taking the exams OR alternatively, you can opt to use the e-learning diamond and complete e-learning is definitely the simplest, most modern & convenient way to study and can also be used to later upgrade your scuba diver license to the open water diver license.

3 Confine Water Sessions

The confined water sessions consist of 3 dives in swimming pool or the shallow water near the beach. This will teach you the full basic necessary skills and safety procedures to be able to go into the Open water.

2 Open water Dives

Here is where you will put the study you have done and the confined water training into practice. The open water sessions consist of one surface session and 2 dives in the ocean at the local coral reef where you will be able to rehearse some training and enjoy some fun diving getting comfortable as a scuba diver.

DIVE COURSE SCHEDULE / DURATION:

09:00AM TILL 02:00PM EVERY DAY a new course starts. Average class size consists of one to 4 students for all classroom, confined and open water sessions. Usually the course can be complete in 2 days, but time and schedules can be arranged to meet your requirements.

Minimum age 10 and ability to float unaided for 10 minutes.
