Open Water Course Training Overview 

THE Open water course is self-study with instructor development. Before you learn to dive in Koh Tao you study the basics before the course begins and then your instructor can focus on developing your area of ​​weakness or misunderstanding. Part 1 DIVE THEORY E-LEARNING 

You have different E-Leaning options to complete your dive theory knowledge and academics.

• Learn the facts and concepts needed to prepare you for dive courses confined and open water dives.
• Take progressive self quizzes and exams to test yourself
• Save yourself holiday time and go straight into the fun part in the water

Part 2 confined water training 

The confined water sessions consist of 5 skill sessions taught in shallow water near the bay or in the swimming pool. This will teach you the necessary skills and safety procedures to be able to go onto the Open water  

PART 3 Open water dives

Here is where you will put the theory and shallow water training into practice. The Open water diver course and open water sessions consist of 4 dive in open water with the dive site around koh tao Thailand. here is where you will be able to rehear some training and enjoy some fun diving. During this you will also be getting comfortable with the ocean while scuba diving around koh tao and everywhere around the world

**Certification:**

Upon successful completion of the classroom, confined water, and open water components of the course, you are eligible to receive your SSI Open Water Diver certification. This globally recognized certification allows individuals to dive independently with a buddy, rent scuba equipment, and participate in a wide range of diving activities worldwide.

Course schedule / duration 

• Course training is scheduled around 3 days from 08:00am until 1pm.
• One to four students for all classroom, confine and open water sessions.

Certification requirements:

Minimum 10 with ability to follow simple instructions, leading to you showing control, comfort and mastery in your dive skills. A 200m swim unaided without stopping is also required with a float for 10 minutes.
